A company is looking for an Income / Franchise Tax Senior Associate, Remote Eligible.

Key Responsibilities

Research, review, and prepare deliverables concerning state and local income / franchise tax matters

Assist clients with state income tax compliance, controversies, and negotiation with taxing authorities

Develop multistate tax expertise and participate in practice development activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; Master's of Taxation, MBA, LLM in Taxation, or JD preferred

2+ years of experience with state and local income / franchise tax compliance and / or consulting

Valid CPA license or JD, or actively working towards obtaining one

Well-rounded knowledge of state and local tax principles and experience with tax research

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
