Overview

The Division of Comprehensive Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board‑eligible or board‑certified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. Candidates must possess an MD degree or equivalent, be ABPN board‑eligible or board‑certified, and be eligible for a California medical license. Fellowship training is desired but not required. The ideal candidate will manage a broad array of neurologic conditions, care for patients with complex or multiple neurologic disorders, and have an interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurology care to patients in an outpatient setting, with no overnight or weekend call.
• Teach medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
• Work in Stanford Health Care hospitals and clinics in Palo Alto and the South Bay depending on clinic needs.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and development of innovative care programs.
• Exhibit excellence in clinical care, teaching, administrative duties, and scholarship appropriate to programmatic needs.
