About The Position

We are looking for a Board Certified Gasteroenterologist for a Locums to Perm need in Springfield, MA.

Highlights -

Clinical Areas :   Adult, Hospital, Gastro, endoscopy Onsite Lab?  Yes Onsite X-Ray?  Yes Will Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine be Required?  No  Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day : 4-12 per day How Many Physicians in Your Group?   4 Average Number of Patients Per Day :   4-12 per day Documentation System / EMR :   EPIC EUS / ERCP - NOT REQUIRED

Required Procedures :

  • Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry
  • Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Liver Biopsy

Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy :

  • with Biopsy
  • with Foreign Body Removal
  • with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)
  • with Injection of Varices
  • with Banding of Varices
  • Diagnostic
  • Therapeutic
  • with PEG (Percutaneous  Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
