Safety Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a dedicated EH&S Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key responsibilities include :

• Perform regular job site inspections to identify, document and recommend mitigation of hazardous / potentially hazardous conditions and verify corrective actions have been completed.
• Perform incidents investigations to include interviews, data compilation, photographs and completing proper documentation.
• Experience working on large projects in excess $10M range or higher.
• An in-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and has knowledge of or can easily become proficient in software programs used by the project team (e.g., Touchplan, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, etc.).
