As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Collinsville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Learn more : aus.com / earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $24.70 / Hour

DayTimeMon08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and direction as required.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
