Principal Associate, Project Manager - Enterprise Payments (Hybrid)
The Enterprise Payments Program Management Office is seeking a strategic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. The Enterprise Payments organization sits within the Retail bank and is at the heart of our company's financial infrastructure, supporting the most critical domains of payment processing. We are driven by our commitment to ensure flawless execution, regulatory compliance, and deliver innovative products that shape the future of payments. In addition to our core payments processing, we provide oversight for end-to-end payment strategy, operations, and risk management for all payment types across the enterprise.
The role
As a Project Manager in the Enterprise Payments Program Management Office, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. In this exciting role you will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the company. In this specific role, you will manage 1-2 high impact projects with Enterprise wide scope or local Enterprise Payments impact. We are looking for a dedicated, disciplined, and high energy Principal Associate who excels in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an acute attention to detail, a keen ability to multitask, and an ability to adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a high level of self-awareness, a passion for intellectual curiosity, and the ability to influence / lead others without direct authority.
General responsibilities :
- Lead complex, cross-team projects that have a direct impact on the company
- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
- Identify ways to improve, streamline business processes and projects
- Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation
- Ensure projects, process and programs are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and proactively partner with Audit and the second line
- Manage and oversee projects in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements, including change control
- Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure projects deliver on intent
- Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
- Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, without direct authority, to effectively drive project efforts
- Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
- Demonstrate strong communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

Basic qualifications :
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office or Google SuiteAt least 2 years of Process or Project Management experiencePreferred qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or military experiencePMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certificationAt least 5 years of Process or Project Management experienceAt least 1 year of experience using Jira or ConfluenceAt least 1 year of experience working with Agile methodologiesAt least 2 years of experience in the financial industryAt least 2 years of experience supporting and partnering with internal stakeholders
