As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular visibility and attentive presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with those on site. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the educational environment. Help to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and maintaining awareness of individuals on the property. Document security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Support emergency response efforts in alignment with location policies and procedures, when appropriate. Collaborate with campus staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements : Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
