REGISTERED EEG TECHNOLOGIST (R. EEG T)

Ambulatory Neurological Services (ANS) is currently seeking ABRET-registered , Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologists to join our team! We are looking for a full-time technologist to perform outpatient EEGs in various settings such as patient homes, residential care facilities, physician offices and outpatient clinics in the greater Salt Lake City area. We offer a dynamic work environment that is fast-paced and highly-compensated.

We are a rapidly growing ambulatory EEG provider dedicated to obtaining the highest quality studies for our patients and referring physicians.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all phases of preparation, set-up, and disconnecting equipment to accomplish out-patient EEG tests in a variety of settings. Must be willing to travel (drive) to patient locations including : patient homes, residential care facilities, physician offices and outpatient clinics.
• Work with a variety of patients of differing ages and medical circumstances.
• Review completed EEG tests and other related studies with appropriate physicians. Pruning / clipping data based on tech experience level.
• Help maintain equipment, including troubleshooting and preparation for studies.
• Light office work including filing reports and proofreading reports as needed.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and must be comfortable moving portable equipment from vehicle to outpatient locations.
