Job Responsibilities :

• Perform routine tests on fire alarm systems to verify their functionality, including testing battery backups, alarm signals, and communication systems
• Identify any potential fire code violations related to the fire alarm system and document them in reports.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, including findings
• Keep informed about current fire safety codes and regulations to ensure inspections are conducted according to the latest standards.

Required skills and qualifications :

• Knowledge of fire alarm system components, operation, and testing procedures
• Understanding of local, state, and national fire safety codes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with building owners and occupants
• Ability to climb ladders and access various areas of a building for inspections
• Basic electrical knowledge may be required depending on the role

Full-Time dependent on skill set. Must be able to do repair work as well as inspections to be considered for a full time position.

Must have commercial fire alarm experience with documentation.
