Salary Range : $80,000 $105,000 per year

An accredited nursing education program is seeking a full-time BSN Instructor specializing in Obstetrics and / or Pediatrics. The instructor will be responsible for teaching nursing courses, supervising clinical experiences, and supporting students in both classroom and clinical settings. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced registered nurse who is passionate about education and shaping the next generation of nurses.

Responsibilities :

Instruct and guide students in nursing theory and clinical practice, applying principles of adult learning.

Collaborate with other instructors on course content, exams, and student evaluations.

Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical learning experiences at assigned healthcare facilities.

Provide timely feedback and assess student performance according to established learning outcomes.

Ensure clinical assignments align with both student learning needs and facility requirements.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and clinical evaluations.

Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and committees that support program goals.

Stay current with new technologies, teaching strategies, and safety regulations.

Advise and mentor students, providing academic and professional guidance.

Contribute to continuous improvement of program quality and instruction.

Qualifications :

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited institution with coursework in Nursing, Education, or Administration.

Valid, active Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of California.

At least four years of RN experience providing direct patient care.

Minimum one year of clinical experience within the last five years (clinical teaching counts toward this requirement).

Expertise in one of the following areas : Obstetrics, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry.

No prior teaching experience required; faculty development training is provided.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Compensation and Benefits :

Competitive salary range : $80,000 $105,000 annually.
