Payroll Processor
The Payroll Processor will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience in processing payroll. The incumbent will work under the direction of a senior team member and play a critical role in weekly processing, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory laws, auditing payroll records and producing essential reporting.
Salary : starting at $70,000
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle weekly payroll processing for multiple locations, including new hire setup, terminations, timecard validation, adjustments, and garnishments
- Assist in maintaining accurate records
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Support year-end payroll processes including W-2 reconciliation and reporting
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams for cross-functional accuracy and alignment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant payroll experienceExperience with ADP Workforce Now requiredAdvanced experience with Excel is requiredBasic understanding of multi-state payroll tax regulations and complianceProven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and interruptionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust demonstrate initiative, independence, and a high level of discretionAccounting or finance background preferred
