Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Denton, TX. This contract role runs from ASAP through 5 / 22 / 2025 and offers a consistent 40-hour workweek. The position focuses on providing speech and language services to students at the elementary level, with specific placement at Paloma Creek Elementary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans
- Follow all state and district regulations regarding speech-language pathology services
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required; no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be consideredExperience working in school settings with a caseload similar to K-12 students preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staffAbility to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining quality therapy servicesWork Schedule and Environment :
