3DX and CATIA V5 Sr. Staff Software Engineer

Description : This position is with the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations Design, Release and Test Systems (DR&TS) team. The DR&TS team develops software solutions that are used by our engineering design teams to simplify the design process. This position is for an experienced Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD / CAM) Sr Staff Software Engineer to lead client 3DExperience and CATIA V5 deployments and develop capabilities used by Engineering design teams at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

The successful candidate will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. They will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution for their assigned software projects. The candidate will support deployments to programs in program downtime as required.

The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational interactions.

Basic Qualifications :

• US Citizenship Required; Eligibility and willingness to obtain Secret level DoD Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related STEM discipline
• 5+ years support of 3DExperience or CATIA V5 / V6 native client operating environments
• C, C++, C#, or Java Development experience
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., Security+, CASP, CISSP) within 90 days of start date.
• Responsible for supporting programs in downtime as required
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Effective communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $147,700 - $255,990.
