Job Details : \n

Assess surgical patient needs and develop individualized care plans before and during procedures

Implement, evaluate, and document patient care during surgical procedures with focus on patient safety

Supervise operating room activities and coordinate schedule changes as needed

Assemble equipment and supplies for surgical procedures

Assist anesthesia personnel as necessary and monitor sterile field integrity

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, OR team, supervisors, and ancillary departments

Provide leadership to the OR team throughout surgical procedures

Work every other weekend schedule

No on-call responsibilities required

At least 2 years of RN OR experience required

Level 2 Trauma experience required

Must be proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Gen / Gyn, and Urology procedures

Recent travel experience highly preferred

BLS (AHA) certification required

Michigan nursing license required

Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
