JOB TITLE : Transporter, OR / EVS
REPORTS TO : Director, Surgical Services
POSITION SUMMARY : Performs decontamination of operating rooms after each surgical procedure and terminal cleaning of rooms after procedures with isolation precautions. Performs cleaning duties throughout the OR, PACU, and Sterile Processing Departments following safety and sanitation regulations and practices. Also transports surgical patients to and from different units of the hospital. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : High School diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of OR experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Current BLS certification.
