Wellness Administrative Assistant (Sunday - Thursday)
The Wellness Administrative Assistant (WAA) will report to the Health and Wellness Director.
Salary Range : $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents, staff and families.
- Coordinates interviews and orientation for new team members.
- Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
- Documents and updates the EHR as directed and under the supervision of the HWD.
- Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation "devices" safe and secure within the community.
- Participates in and attends all in-service training(s) as scheduled.
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
- Perform and oversee staffing scheduling (state specific).
- Assists with communication via telephone, facsimile and / or email with families, physicians, third party vendors and / or staff.
- Schedules appointments for residents as directed from the nursing staff.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and / or ED
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid a plusKnowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experienceAdditional Benefits for Full-time Team Members :
