Structural Dam Safety Engineering Intern

We are looking for a candidate to work as part of our East Region Dams Practice located in our Germantown Maryland or Conshohocken Pennsylvania office as a  Structural Dam Safety Engineer Intern . This position will support a variety Dam Safety Engineering projects across the East Region. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience working with the ENR-ranked #1 Dams and Reservoirs firm contributing to meaningful water infrastructure projects that enhance public safety and resilience.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

• Assist with design analysis inspection and construction observation tasks for dam safety projects.
• Support engineers in performing structural stability and strength analyses for concrete dams spillways outlet works and other hydraulic or site structures.
• Help prepare technical reports drawings and specifications under the supervision of other engineers.
• Develop AutoCAD drawings and structural details for design deliverables.
• Participate in field visits and dam safety inspections documenting site conditions and supporting construction oversight.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil structural and geotechnical disciplines.
