License : Active South Carolina RN License or Compact License required. Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have : Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. Description : Position requires a registered nurse specialized in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The shift consists of three 12-hour workdays from 7 AM to 7 PM. Holiday rotation and weekend coverage are required, with a minimum of every other weekend needed. The patient-to-nurse ratio is generally 1 : 2. This role requires floating between similar units as necessary. Candidate must have experience with critical care procedures and technologies. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients with multiple complex conditions. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to handle emergencies and critical care situations. Participation in ongoing education and training is expected. All time off requests must be included upon application submission for consideration. No local candidates will be accepted for this role.
