We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract to hire basis. This position is based in Austin, Texas, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting financial operations across multiple entities.

Responsibilities :

• Process and verify invoices with precision, ensuring compliance with two-way matching procedures.
• Accurately code invoices to the appropriate accounts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Manage accounts payable operations across multiple entities and locations to ensure consistency.
• Oversee vendor account management, including addressing inquiries and maintaining positive relationships.
• Handle year-end processes, including preparation and submission of Form 1099 documentation.
• Process payments using various methods, such as ACH and check runs, while adhering to deadlines.
• Utilize accounting software like Sage Intacct to streamline financial operations and reporting.
• Support acquisition-related financial activities, ensuring seamless integration of accounts payable functions.
• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox to address and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and support organizational goals.
