Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday

About the Role

The Learning Experience Tuckahoe is hiring a compassionate and dependable Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to support our daycare and preschool classrooms. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with young children and wants to grow within a supportive early education environment.

Our school emphasizes play-based learning, positive relationships, and teamwork to help children feel confident, curious, and cared for every day.

What Youll Do

• Assist Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and transitions
  
  
• Support children through play, learning centers, and structured routines
  
  
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
  
  
• Participate in snack/mealtime, diapering or toileting, and rest periods as needed
  
  
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
  
  
• Follow center procedures and New York childcare licensing requirements
  
  

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  
• Experience with children in a daycare, preschool, camp, or similar setting preferred
  
  
• Interest in early childhood education (ECE coursework a plus)
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  
  
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
