We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help us continue delivering excellence in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Nursing , you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing by ensuring that high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care is provided throughout the facility. Responsibilities include :
Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies and procedures.
Supervising, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
Ensuring regulatory compliance with all state and federal nursing care standards.
Conducting training and performance evaluations to foster staff growth and retention.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Addressing resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
Licensure : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the state of Pennsylvania.
Experience :
Minimum of two years in a supervisory role within a long-term care, hospital, or similar healthcare setting.
Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of nursing regulations and best practices for skilled nursing facilities.
Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
