Hourly Pay Range :

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position :

Clinical Nurse Educator / Staff Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab (position is 50% staffing, 50% education)

Position Highlights :

Hours : Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Location : Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL

What you will do :

Provide clinical education, mentorship, and onboarding support for nurses and technologists.

Serve as a visible clinical resource and assist with direct patient care as needed.

Collaborate with Clinical Managers and Charge Nurses to assess learning needs and support performance goals.

Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs, competencies, and skills days.

Facilitate staff development, in-services, and specialty certification preparation.

Mentor and evaluate preceptors to strengthen onboarding and training outcomes.

Lead or support unit council participation and shared governance initiatives.

Promote safe, high-quality patient care and a positive, professional learning environment.

Maintain education records, checklists, and competency documentation.

Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet educational needs across shifts.

What you will need :

Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience required

IL RN license

Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required

Bachelor of Nursing required, Master's degree preferred

CPR : BLS & ACLS required (Issued by American Heart Association)

Demonstrated clinical nursing expertise with a minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a clinical practice setting.

Board certification in area of clinical specialty or in Nursing Professional Development within 1 year of board eligibility.
