The Leader in Metal Cutting Technology, seeks a professional outside sales specialist to represent the Bahco line to industrial customers. Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate production cutting end users based on media sources, trade shows, and knowledge of the industry; prioritize end user sales opportunities driving growth in assigned territory.
• Analyze customer requirements, establish benchmark vs. competition data, demonstrate to customer performance of Bahco blades; provide cost per cut analysis and / or benchmark results for end users.
• Create and deliver product training or sales presentations to both internal and external groups incorporating samples, catalogs and highlighting features / benefits of products and services, in order to close the sale.
• Perform 12 point inspections & testing for blade performance at customer locations using end user saw machines.
• Interact with, train and coach end users on safe and proper use of products.
• Communicate product performance, price and supply information to distributors and end users.
• Negotiate sales and contracts within allowed parameters; manage renewal of annual contracts; maintains relationships with purchasing contract managers.
• Provide customer support by following up on orders, delivery dates, warranty claims, and other customer needs.
• Coordinate with appropriate resources to resolve customer issues with delivery, product availability, application or quality concerns.
• Prepare, track and submit required sales plans, expense reports and other sales tools required by manager.
• Provide input to internal or distributor marketing programs or campaigns as requested.
• Analyze territory performance, submit expense reports and complete all other general administrative duties required.

Qualifications

Snap-on offers a competitive compensation package, which includes a base expense plus sales bonus opportunity. In addition, Snap-on offers a complete benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k savings plan and a retirement plan.

This position has an average expected salary range of $60,000-$75,000 with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
