Data Center Technician

A company is looking for a Data Center Technician II.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in installing, moving, and decommissioning hardware in the Data Center

Confirm and label devices, racks, and cables

Utilize a standard ticketing system for customer communications and follow established procedures

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience

Ability to respond to on-call requests within 1 hour

Experience with CAT5e and CAT6 copper cables and fiber optics

Knowledge of Data Center best practices and infrastructure

Ability to operate material handling equipment if certified
