Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - $3,306 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Pediatric ICU Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Hours Experience : Minimum of 3 years in high acuity hospitals. Strong pediatric ICU and general cardiac experience required. Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. License : Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact license from the permanent address state. Certifications : BLS certification through the American Heart Association. PALS certification through the American Heart Association. Must-Have : Telemetry experience with Basic Arrhythmia competency. Strong pediatric ICU experience and general cardiac experience required. Experience within the past 12 months preferred. Description : Join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families. Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a variety of medical and surgical problems. Conditions treated include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO. Floating may be required to other units based on current staffing needs. The position requires participation in weekend rotations and some holidays. Completion of a telemetry test prior to starting is mandatory. A strong level II experience may be considered for some candidates. Travelers are expected to float to different units based on staffing needs during their assignment.
