Job Summary
Are you an energetic, innovative, and community-oriented individual? We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill our Recreation Programmer position at a community center in rural Western Loudoun County. By joining our team, you will make a significant contribution to transforming the center into a vibrant focal point for our community. This multifaceted role encompasses the design, creation, and oversight of outstanding programs tailored for our wonderful community. Ideal candidates will be capable of generating creative ideas while developing and implementing recreation programs. In addition to showcasing expertise in program development and fostering community involvement, the perfect candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the program requirements for all age groups and demographics. Flexibility is essential, as the role will require working evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with the ability to adapt to evolving schedules and community demands. Moreover, candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and thrive in collaborative team settings.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; two years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Must undergo criminal background, credit, Child Protective Services (CPS), and DMV background checks. You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. For continued qualifications, driving records may be reviewed annually. Fingerprints and TB tests must be conducted within 30 days of employment. First Aid / CPR certification is required to be obtained within four months of being hired or at the time of hiring.
