Senior Imaging Technician

Description

Senior Imaging Technician at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is a Full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Provides repairs, scheduled maintenance, and calibration on diagnostic imaging equipment and ancillary equipment used within the imaging environment. Services imaging equipment in assigned geography which may include but not limited to the following modalities : CR, Portables, C-Arms, conventional X-Ray, R&F, tomography, mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, Cath labs, nuclear medicine or linear accelerators. Provides a high level of technical support and training to clinical departments in areas of expertise.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree - Biomedical Equipment Technology or,
• Coursework / Training - Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training.
• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
