Twenty Four Seven Hotels is currently seeking a Regional Director of Sales to support and lead sales teams to success! Through mentoring and training, collaboration and direct sales strategies, this multi-property support role drives top line revenues, market share and profitability to the assigned portfolio of hotels. Drawing on an expert skill set, the Regional Director of Sales works closely with hotel-based Sales team, General Managers, Corporate and other key stakeholders.
The role would be routinely visiting with regular on-site rotations at the properties and periodic presence at the Corporate Office in Orange County. Given the operational needs, candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of LAX, as regular on‑site visits to our Los Angeles–area hotels are required each month.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conducts routine property visits to perform sales reviews, collaborate on strategy development and manager training; recommends alternative options and solutions to advance property; explores and recommends opportunities to increase revenue through ancillary methods; reviews and enhances front office to ensure maximum collaboration and maximum sales
- Provide weekly analytical and sales strategy support through assessment of routine reporting
- Support corporate and group sales initiatives to close business and achieve revenue goals
- Performs account and segment pace reporting assessments to help guide increased market share
- Develops Sales Action Plans and reviews and submits quarterly goal results
- Develop and train property sales leaders to enable a productive property sales department
- Participates in agency and account visits to enhance relationship development and portfolio revenue growth
- Provides property support and partnership with revenue management through annual special corporate pricing process
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans as required for field support
- Provide support and pull through efforts for digital marketing plans & local content strategy
- Leverage brands and industry tools to help analyze and improve optimal revenue growth
- Monitors property revenue gaps to goal and assist with strategy to achieve optimal budget results
Education and Experience:
- 4-year college degree preferred (Major in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred)
- 5 or more years in a hotel sales leadership position is required
- A minimum of 2 years directly supervising teams of 5+ sales professionals
- Prior multi-property responsibility is required
- Premium brand full-service experience is required; select-service and/or extended-stay brand experience
- Marriott brand experience preferred
- Proven experience analyzing key hotel and market activity
- Skilled in communication at an executive level - both written and verbal
- Prior experience working in a consultative role is preferred
- Proven ability to build positive relationships
- Overnight travel required, up to 75% of the time
- Compensation for this role will be based on a combination of factors including relevant experience, specialized skills, and geographic location
