Warehouse Associate

While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks and movement of product within the plant.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Transport raw materials to production equipment, remove damaged material, and load/unload trucks.
• Prepare finished goods for shipping and build pallets of finished goods off conveyors.
• Clean work area and equipment regularly. Remove empty or damaged pallets, wood, plastic, and empty trash cans.
• Maintain material handling equipment by performing safety checks, recharging, cleaning, oiling, and logging maintenance.
• Record information regarding movement of raw materials to and from the warehouse.
• Organize and prioritize work while multitasking and handling multiple issues at once.
• Make independent, effective decisions and work in a safe manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You:

• Are able to drive a forklift and clamp truck (previous experience preferred).
• Have mechanical ability and are quality and safety conscious.
• Can work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Understand machines and their components and have an aptitude for mechanical tasks.
• Can perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Can read and write legibly to complete required paperwork and forms.
• Are physically able to:
• Climb ladders, stairs, and ramps.
• Maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching.
• Kneel and stand for sustained periods.
• Push/pull objects using upper body strength.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from various positions.
