Project Manager / Estimator

Job Description
Perform quantity takeoffs, cost estimating (labor, materials, equipment), and prepare accurate, comprehensive bid proposals. Review project documents (drawings, specifications, scope), clarify scope with subcontractors / trades, and compile cost analyses and scopes of work. Manage projects from bid award through completion : scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, cost control, change orders, site supervision / support, and project close-out. Coordinate with architects, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication, on-time deliveries, and adherence to quality standards. Maintain records of estimates, costs, subcontracts, purchase orders, schedules, and change orders to support project accounting and forecasting. Participate in project meetings (kick-offs, progress reviews, owner / architect / construction team meetings) and represent the company professionally throughout all project phases.

The Successful Applicant
3-7 years (or more) of experience in construction estimating and project management, preferably in interior renovation, tenant fit-outs, or specialty contracting. Proficiency reading architectural and construction drawings; ability to perform accurate takeoffs and cost estimates. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and keep tight control on budgets and schedules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of interacting with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal crews. Familiarity with construction project management processes, subcontractor procurement, change order management, and project documentation. Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and willingness to visit job sites as needed. OSHA or relevant safety training a plus.
