Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Location : Bend, OR

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 3×12-hour shifts (07 : 00–19 : 00)

Responsibilities :

  • Assist surgical teams in a variety of specialty procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastics, ENT, vascular, urology, robotics, and pediatrics (within scope).
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Support surgeons with complex cases such as craniotomy, orthopedic trauma, motor vehicle accident injuries, and total joint replacements.
  • Ensure equipment care, sterilization, and proper handling of scopes, fiber optics, and instrumentation.
  • Follow universal protocols, isolation precautions, sharps safety, and laser safety guidelines.
  • Participate in call rotation : two weeknights every 6 weeks and one full weekend (days or nights) every 1.5 months.
  • Work in a high-volume environment with 16 operating rooms.
  • Care for patients across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
