Logistics Analyst III
PingWind is seeking a Logistics Analyst III to support the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) Program by being responsible for managing and optimizing complex logistics and supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing data, developing logistics strategies, and overseeing the implementation of transportation, warehousing, and distribution solutions to ensure operational excellence. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel / data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Develop, implement, and manage logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics processes including procurement support, material movement, inventory control, transportation, and distribution.
- Manage logistics planning and forecasting to align supply chain capabilities with production schedules and customer demands.
- Create and present executive-level reports and dashboards summarizing logistics performance, KPIs, and cost metrics.
- Lead initiatives to optimize route planning, warehouse utilization, and shipment consolidation.
- Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, and suppliers to ensure service level and compliance standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, finance, operations, IT, and production) to coordinate logistics planning and execution.
- Support system integration projects, data migrations, and automation initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement digital tools to improve logistics efficiency (e.g., TMS, WMS, BI analytics platforms).
Required Qualifications :
5+ years' experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Military Experience preferredAbout PingWind :
