Main Sail is seeking an experienced Temporary Office Manager to support BWXT operations in Melbourne, FL. The Office Manager must be effective in planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a timely manner. They must also exhibit skills in building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate is personable, respectful, and organized, comfortable with new technology, virtual meeting platforms, and scheduling systems. Considering the culture of ownership and accountability within BWXT, this person should be comfortable taking the initiative when faced with administrative decisions. This role is highly visible and requires a high degree of flexibility, professionalism, and confidentiality.

BWXT is a leading supplier of nuclear components and fuel to the U.S. government; provides technical, management, and site services to support governments in the operation of complex facilities and environmental remediation activities; and supplies precision-manufactured components and services for the commercial nuclear power industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides support and assistance to executives and other staff as assigned, including but not limited to : scheduling, travel, and expenses.
  • Streamlines work methods and processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Prepares meeting agendas, materials, and presentations.
  • Attends meetings, takes notes, and follows up on action items.
  • Coordinates, schedules, and manages office space and conference room availability for other company personnel, guests, and vendors.
  • Coordinates with other BWXT executive staff as required to support business meetings, travel, and functions.
  • Receives incoming communications or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and / or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Serves as the primary interface with building management, support services, and outside vendors.
  • Stocks and maintains the local office.
  • Performs and supports office event planning functions, to include board meetings and other senior-level engagements.
  • Handles sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
  • Maintains discretion in all interactions.
  • Supports multiple executives in ad hoc projects, data analysis, and research, and provides insights and recommendations based on findings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience : 2 or more years of related Office Manager experience

Location : On-site Melbourne, FL

Period : Full time; 40hours / week; 12 / 8 / 25 - 3 / 28 / 26
