Job Title : Vascular Technologist

Sterile technique is required.

Scrub experience is very important.

Proficiency with scrub techniques is essential.

Description :

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is a skilled individual qualified by technological education to provide patient services using diagnostic equipment under the supervision of a physician.

The technologist will be required to scrub and assist the physician during procedures.

Performs related duties as assigned.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist prerequisites for education and required clinical experience.

Current American Heart Association BLS Heart saver Card is required or must be obtained within the probationary period.

Working conditions may involve walking long distances and standing while wearing lead.

Equipment used includes fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound.

The department handles a diverse range of procedures from head to toes, excluding the heart.

Candidates should possess an easy-going personality and be willing to stay busy in a fast-paced environment.

Scrubs will be provided, and any unacceptable attire is avoided.

Neuro experience is preferred but not necessary.

CT experience is considered a plus.
