As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, providing a welcoming presence and assisting with security-related questions. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive customer service and communication.   • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service to all visitors, patients, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or disruptive behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site contacts.
  • Assist with directing visitors and answering general inquiries to support a welcoming environment.
  • Follow protocols for handling lost and found items and / or assisting individuals in need of assistance within the facility.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
