Description :

This position is responsible for supervising the Mobile Outreach Program and providing direct supervision to Mobile Outreach teams as they conduct outreach across the city of Chicago and on the CTA to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness and substance use.

Requirements :

Responsibilities will include :

Providing direct supervision and support to Mobile Program Outreach team members;
Assisting Mobile Outreach Program Manager with program development which reflects program goals and objectives;
Providing training to Outreach team members relevant to completing reporting involving staff attendance & performance;
Monitor outreach team for performance, attendance and completing documentation of their reporting staff performance

evaluations;

Provide regular and ongoing individual and group staff supervision and maintain records to document the same;

Monitoring compliance of charts with Haymarket Center's QA standards, policies and procedures;

Creating monthly / quarterly reports to reflect program activities in line with funder expectations;

Identifying staff training and education;

Providing some direct services including connection to mainstream benefits and ancillary services;

Other duties as required for effective teamwork, or as assigned by the Mobile Outreach Program Manager.

Education, Experience & Skills Required :

At least one year of previous experience working with homeless, substance use and mental health population required;

HS Diploma / GED equivalent required;

B.S. Social Services or Health Related field preferred;

CAAP or CADC preferred;

Ability to calmly respond to emergencies and quickly assess and respond safely and appropriately per agency policy;

Comfort level in working with homelessness and culturally diverse populations;

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail;

Valid Illinois driver's license and the ability to operate a van;

Previous supervisory experience in Outreach Services or Case Management preferred.
