Precious Care ABA is seeking a highly driven State Director to lead and scale our ABA operations in North Carolina . This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build a state from the ground up , with direct responsibility for BCBA recruitment, client growth, and market expansion .
This role includes a competitive salary plus performance-based bonus and a potential profit-sharing component tied to the success of the North Carolina market.
Key Responsibilities
State Growth & Market Development
Own the expansion strategy for North Carolina
Develop referral partnerships with schools, pediatricians, clinics, and community organizations
Drive steady, sustainable client intake statewide
BCBA Recruitment & Clinical Expansion
Recruit, onboard, and retain BCBAs and clinical leadership
Build a scalable clinical model aligned with growth targets
Support clinical quality and compliance
Leadership & Operations
Serve as the primary leader for North Carolina ABA operations
Collaborate with intake, scheduling, authorizations, and billing teams
Monitor KPIs related to growth, staffing, utilization, and performance
Ensure compliance with state and payer requirements
Requirements Qualifications
BCBA or BCBA-D preferred (not required for the right operational leader)
3+ years in ABA services
Prior leadership experience (Clinical Director, Regional Director, Program Director, or similar)
Proven experience growing an ABA program, market, or team
Strong understanding of ABA operations, authorizations, and payer dynamics
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution skills
