Based in Liverpool, This award-winning regional firm that specialises in local industries with a strong focus towards SME advisory. The firm consists of two partners and has seen strong continual growth throughout all departments which they are looking to build upon through growing their business advisory team into 2021. The firm works alongside entities with an annual turnover of up to 200 million and includes industries such as Agriculture, Construction, and High net worth individuals. With a strong training structure and full CA support provided the firm is looking to bring onboard a driven accountant who has a passion for helping clients.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF

• Manage the audit process from planning to completion.-
• Expenditure & revenue, highlight key controls, research, preparation of confirmation letters, lead schedules, audit planning including risk assessment completion, accounts preparation, materiality assessment, management letter, file completion, audit programs, cash flow statement, analytical review
• Maintaining strong working relationships with the Firm's clients, Partners and staff
• Manage and Mentor junior audit staff
• Analyse and document internal controls and control environments
• Li aising with clients concerning deadlines, audit requirements, accounting queries
• Financial statements and tax compliance audits in line with the UKn Auditing and Accounting Standards
• Audit fieldwork
• Lead Engagements
• Governance and regulatory compliance
