RN-L&D:RN-L&D

The Labor & Delivery RN provides skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum. The nurse monitors maternal and fetal status, assists with vaginal and cesarean births, and responds to obstetric emergencies. The RN educates and supports patients and families while ensuring a safe and positive birth experience.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess laboring patients and fetal well-being.

Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care.

Administer medications and treatments.

Document patient care accurately.

Collaborate with physicians and the care team.
