We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Edmonds, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential financial processes and ensuring accurate documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
Responsibilities :
- Provide support to other accounting functions and assist with cross-training efforts across departments and affiliated companies.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as annual audit preparations.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance process documentation.
- Foster attentive and collaborative relationships with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Represent the company with integrity in all interactions.
- Maintain organized and compliant paper and electronic records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process invoices, including coding and verifying details for accuracy.
- Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Handle the preparation and filing of Form 1099 for applicable vendors.
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000.

Previous experience in accounts payable and related financial operations.Proficiency in invoice processing, including coding and verification.Familiarity with managing check runs and payment schedules.Knowledge of Form 1099 preparation and filing requirements.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience with maintaining accurate and compliant records.
