DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION My Psychiatrist is a well-established multi-disciplinary outpatient mental health group practice. We are seeking Full-Time Licensed Psychologists with experience providing psychotherapy, psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments for our Falls Church location.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Diagnose psychological disorders and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and consultations
- Conduct diagnostic interviews and therapy sessions using evidence-based and brief therapeutic models
- Conducts and documents initial psychological assessment of patients
- Maintain complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentation
- Provides psychotherapy using wide varieties of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-based therapy and more
- Formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, and management plans for clients
- Measuring the effectiveness of interventions and implementing changes where required
- Maintains detailed documentation of services provided to permit administrative audit and meet documentation requirements.
- Option to perform detailed and specific psycho diagnostic assessment, including psychological testing and psychological evaluations
- Provide family support and crisis management services as needed
QUALIFICATIONS - PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited Counseling or Psychology program
- Licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Virginia or other states, or near completion of license
- Experienced with online consultation and psychological assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems
- Proficient with planning and performing psychological therapies, risk assessment & training
- Ability to maintain and complete clinical documentation consistently and adhere to the statement of ethics and code of conduct as outlined by the service provider
