Responsibilities

  • Participate in a variety of projects, including roadway, general engineering studies, preliminary scoping, and final design projects
  • Perform a range of assignments, including roadway engineering calculations, analysis, and design; preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; transportation studies; and report writing
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and proactively learn new methods and techniques to solve complex engineering problems
  • Interact with clients and the public

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • EI or EIT registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 0-4 years of related transportation design or study experience
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer and / or AutoCAD experience with design programs is preferred
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
