Security Officer - Tech / Media Unarmed Patrol PT

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 05 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 05 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or potential threats.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access within the tech and media environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and / or documentation in accordance with site and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
