Description :

Full-service law firm seeks a highly motivated and skilled associate attorney admitted in New York with 1 to 3 years of commercial lending experience. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Requirements : Responsibilities :

  • Represent institutional lenders in financing commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties from inception to closing.
  • Draft commercial loan documents with experience in mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.
  • Perform review of organizational documents for borrowing entities.
  • Review commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements, and ancillary loan documents.
  • Oversee real estate secured finance transactions, workouts, and restructurings.
  • Review title reports, surveys, and oversee title clearance.
  • Handle lending and debt finance related to property acquisition, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the New York State Bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Lending
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
