Charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

Candidates should be comfortable with charge coverage.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Experience with patient ratios of 5 is required.

Charting system experience with Cerner is required.

Description :

The position requires a registered nurse working in the MS / Tele specialty.

The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care for various medical and surgical diagnoses.

Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

The daily census for the unit is 24 patients, with a total of 24 beds.

Nurses will provide care for adults and geriatric patients.

Floating within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required.

Candidates should have experience in telemetry and managing patients post-surgery.

Candidates must be skilled in managing various nursing tasks, including medication administration and patient monitoring.

Experience with complex care needs such as bariatric surgery, chemotherapy administration, and wound care is preferred.

Overall, candidates should have a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing and be adaptable to a fluctuating patient care environment.
