As a Linux System Engineer on our team, you'll provide networking, fabrication, security, lab, and deployment support by delivering engineering solutions for network configurations, deployment loading of software, and patching and troubleshooting deployed software and hardware on a variety of servers and switches. Customers will rely on you to resolve connectivity issues between the lab, live and dev, and production systems, system-to-system applications and interfaces, end-to-end threads, network switch installs, configurations and racks, and stacks and installs of various servers and switch components. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skill set and demonstrate your knowledge of the client's mission software and security, including STN and STE processes. You Have :

Experience setting up and managing Dell Servers and Cisco Nexus Switches

Experience with network hardware and configuration, routing requirements, and mission hosting

Experience with domain name service and Network Time Protocols

Experience developing IP tables and RPMs

Experience with scripting languages, including Bash shell scripting

Experience setting up and maintaining NAS storage array

Experience maintaining multiple networks

Experience with IAVMs

TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with system engineering, or Bachelor's degree in a Technology field and 7+ years of experience with system engineering

Nice If You Have :

Experience with Jira software

Experience with Python

RedHat Linux Certification

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
