We are looking for a college intern who will be passionate to work for Envoy Air, the largest regional airline part of the American Airlines Group (AAG). This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences. Envoy operates both Embraer E-175 and E-170 aircraft fleet types. The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.S. to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers. You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.

Pay rate : $22 / hr

Responsibilities

The Intern will function as an analyst in the Customer Services Policy & Planning department (auditing, uniforms, operations / workforce planning). The P&P intern will support strategic initiatives that enhance Envoy's ground handling operations across our stations. This role is designed to provide meaningful contributions while offering professional development opportunities for the intern.

A mentor will be assigned to the intern and they will participate in various training opportunities during the internship that will include some travel across our ground handling network. Upon completion of the internship, the intern will develop a deeper understanding of the job functions of an analyst and of the airline ground handling business.

Typical job duties include :

• Engage in a summer capstone project with Field Services, Workforce Planning, and Performance Reporting teams to develop solutions that directly benefit our ground handling station teams
• Assist in development and implementation of new ground handling processes and procedures
• Participate in various training opportunities and smaller assignments to gain a deeper understanding of ground handling operations and the analyst role
• Present analysis, process improvement initiatives and project results to senior management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and possess the ability to handle & prioritize various projects to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.
