New Store Development Intern

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented New Store Development Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience of the commercial Real Estate industry. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge, collaborate cross-functionally with our research, legal, architecture / construction, and finance teams, all while experiencing the full Real Estate transaction life cycle that brings a new Sprouts store to life! The intern will support day-to-day activities, including tracking and monitoring key project milestones and deadlines, collaboration with internal partners as well as outside partners including landlords, developers and brokers, and assisting to maintain transaction deadlines.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Support multiple internal stakeholders through all phases of the real estate transaction process.
• Track and monitor key project milestones, dated and deliverables from site identification through final lease execution.
• Coordinate and support external communications and relationships with external partners.
• Assist with various tasks related to existing store portfolio management and property management related issues.
• Escalate issues or delays that may affect deal / project timelines to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with facilitating various lease documents including amendments, letter agreements, consent / waivers, etc.
• Support Ad Hoc Real Estate driven projects as they arise.
