Job Overview :
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic, educational and diversionary recreation services to restore, remediate and / or rehabilitate effects if illness and disability. Through the provision of therapy, programs, resources, and support staff work with patients to encourage the development of satisfying recreational interests and skills for participation in departmental recreational programs.
Qualifications : Required :
Education :
A B.S. / B.A. or M.S. / M.A. in Occupational, Recreational Therapy or Vocational Counseling required. License commensurate with the degree,
Member of NTRS or ATRA preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 2-3 years of Recreational Therapy.
