Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Min Pay rate : $40 Max Pay rate : $48 per hour

1st Shift

Work Schedule : 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM with Flexibility, Monday-Friday.

Job Description :

Safety - Learn, implement and comply with all Safety, Ergonomics, and Management of Change activity in support of site safety goals. Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) may be required for this role. If it is deemed necessary Client will provide the appropriate training and certification.

Process and Work Instructions

Generate and maintain Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions per the MSOP standards. Create and Update Oracle ERP routings as needed for products.

Inspection

Identify when / where there is a need for standard or special gauging, and special equipment / tooling for production.

Problem Resolution

Provide timely support in resolving manufacturing issues in the production area.

Complete NCRs (Non Conformance Reports) in accordance with MSOP standards and with the cross functional team.

Process Optimization

Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) as needed.

Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and variation in processes focused on improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Support 5S and visual management efforts in manufacturing areas.

Work Cell Design

ssist in developing Work Cell Design, Integration and Validation if required.

Communication and Teamwork

Work with a cross functional team including Quality Eng, Design Eng, Tool Design Group and production (technicians and supervisors) to improve workflow, through-put, quality, and safety.Build working relationships within the cross functional team and leverage them to identify necessary continuous improvement opportunities.

ttend all face-to-face cell meetings, customer calls, team meetings as required.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, in a Manufacturing environment with hand assembly, mechanical fasteners, and some testing.
